Water is one of the most important resources on Earth. Without water, we could not live.
About 75% of the Earth is covered by water, but not all of it is safe to drink. Fresh water mostly comes from lakes and rivers and it only makes up 2.5% of all the water on Earth.
Glaciers are like natural “water towers”. They store about 70% of the Earth’s fresh water. People use glacial water for drinking, farming, and many other things. However, because of climate change, glaciers are melting (融化) faster than before. This puts water safety in great danger for billions of people.
In fact, there are many water problems in the world. But there are also lots of things we can do to save water in our home. For example, we can turn off the tap when brushing our teeth. We can also wait until we have a lot of clothes before washing them.
Every drop of water we save can not only help solve water problems but also keep the Earth’s water system healthy. Let’s make water saving a daily habit!

Many foreign tourists are changing their travel styles during their trips in China. In the past, they mostly paid visits to famous big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. Now they are more willing to travel to quiet smaller cities. They dive into rich local culture, experience ordinary people’s real daily life and enjoy different and special travel experiences.

31.Recently, I started using an AI writing tool to help me improve my writing. At first, I was amazed. I could just write a few words, and the AI would quickly make a good paragraph. It saved me time, and I began to depend on it more and more.
But last week, I needed to write something personal—a piece about what kindness means to me. I asked the AI, and it gave me a well-organized article. The grammar was perfect and the logic was smooth. But something felt wrong. It didn’t sound like me. It had no real emotion.
That moment made me think. Isn’t the point of writing to share our true thoughts and feelings Yes, AI is powerful. It can help us organize ideas, fix grammar, and even inspire (激发) us. But if we use it too much, we may lose our own voice.
Sometimes the “mistakes” in our writing—a strange word, an unexpected sentence—are what make it truly ours. AI is a great tool when used wisely. But don’t let it take over your thoughts. Use it to support your ideas, not to replace them. The most important thing is you—your thoughts, your feelings, and your voice.
(1) How did the writer feel about the AI writing tool at first _______________________________________
(2) Why did the writer feel something wrong with the AI-written article about kindness _______________________________________
(3) Would you use AI tools to write or write by yourself Please give your reason._______________________________________
