Do you get angry when your friends sing loudly Or when your best friend does not wait for you after school
If you do, you need to control (控制) your feelings and stop getting angry so easily. Getting angry easily can make you lose friends.
Gary Egeberg, an American high school teacher, wrote My Feelings are Just Like Wild Animals to help you control your feelings. It tells teenagers how to stay cool when bad things happen to them. The book says that getting angry only makes problems worse. It cannot make them better. “Getting angry is not a natural way to act”, the book says. It is just a bad habit, like smoking. The book says you can control your anger easily, and all you have to do is to tell yourself not to be angry.
When a baby falls over, it cries only when people are watching it. Like a baby, you can only get angry if you are sure it is the right thing to do.
The book gives many suggestions to help you if you get angry easily. Here are the top three.
①Keep a record. Every time you get angry, write down why you are angry. Look at it later and you will see you get angry too easily.
②Ask your friends to stop talking to you when you get angry. This will teach you not to be angry.
③Do something different. When you get angry, walk away from the problem and go somewhere else. Try to laugh!

I’ll water mine with clean water from the lake, but you’ll water yours with water from the pool. It might not be as clean, but we’ll see what happens in a few weeks.
A few weeks later, the father brought his son back to the garden and asked, “What do you see ” The boy answered, “My flower looks better and healthier than yours. How is that possible when your water was cleaner ” The father smiled and said, “That’s because even water that isn’t very clean can still help a plant grow. 七、任务型阅读
My friend, Robert, has a twin sister named Amanda. Though they get along well, there are some things about Amanda and her friends that puzzle (使困惑) him. He can’t understand how girls can talk for long. For example, sometimes when he leaves home to play football, Amanda and her friend, Sharon, are sitting on the sofa, talking. When he comes back three hours later, they’re still sitting there, going on with the same topic.
Boys and girls have different attitudes towards friendships. Friendships between girls are usually about sharing feelings and support, but boys prefer to share activities or interests. A boy seems to be more careful about sharing his feelings with his friends. A girl’s closest friend, however, might always be about to tell her about something that has happened in her life.
Many studies show that girls have more friendships than boys. In fact, many teenage boys cannot name a single best friend. When asked, they think for a while before answering, “My best friend Er, I don’t think about that, and I have so many different friends that it is hard to choose just one best friend.” Girls who have been asked can usually answer the question without thinking, “A best friend Of course. We have a lot to share with each other and do a lot of things together.”
We have to realize: boys share activities, while girls share feelings more. But the most important thing to remember is that both of them need friendships.
63. What’s the relationship between Robert and Amanda (不超过5个词)

Nature
Now most teenagers are busy with schoolwork. Many of us stay at home playing electronic products and seldom get close to nature. Last weekend I went to the mountain with my family. I saw green trees, beautiful wild flowers and clear streams. The fresh air made me relaxed and happy.
Getting close to nature brings us lots of advantages. It helps us relax from heavy study and lets us know different plants and animals. It’s good for our body and mind.
We should go out to enjoy nature as often as possible. At the same time, we must protect it. Don’t pick flowers or throw rubbish everywhere. Let’s live in harmony with nature.
