Think about it, you’re sitting alone (独自地) in a restaurant. The waiter brings you a bowl of the world’s best noodles, and you wish you had someone to share it with. But no family or friends are there with you.
How do you feel then The noodles are delicious, but you won’t truly enjoy them. Your feelings may even make the noodles taste not so good.
Studies show that shared experiences make us happier. This is because when we have someone by our side, we don’t have to face everything alone—good or bad. When we share good news with family or friends, our happiness grows greater. When we tell them our problems, our sadness gets lighter.
The studies also show that we may lose interest in nice things we have if we have no one to share them with. Without sharing, these things seem to lose their meaning, too.
Next time you eat a bowl of delicious noodles with a family member or a good friend, think about how great it’s to share this moment. When we’re with family or friends, we can laugh together, help each other, and feel warm and safe. Life is full of great things, but it’s the people we share them with that make life special.

C.Because they are not real sometimes. D.Because we have no one to share them with.

In the UK, children should start school at the age of five. They must wear the uniform on school days. Boys wear shirts, and girls wear long skirts. The skirts must cover their knees (膝). In some schools, students can’t wear coats in class.
In Australia, sunlight (日光) is very strong. So students must wear hats when they play outside. If they forget their hats, they have to stay inside. There’s also a special rule for teachers. They mustn’t use red pens to mark homework. They think red makes students feel bad. They use blue pens.
In Sweden (瑞典), schools ask students to play outside every day, even when it’s raining cats and dogs. They believe that outdoor activities help students stay healthy.

My Favourite Chinese Story
Hello, everyone! I’d like to tell you a famous Chinese story — Yu Gong Moves a Mountain.
Once there was an old man called Yu Gong. Two big mountains stood in front of his house. It took him a long time to walk around them every day. He decided to move the mountains away with his family. They dug earth and carried stones every day. An old wise man laughed at him and said he could never finish it. But Yu Gong didn’t give up. He said his children and grandchildren would keep working after him.
Finally, two gods were moved by his persistence. They came and carried the mountains away.
This story tells us nothing is impossible if we stick to our goals and never give up. I hope you can learn something from it. Thank you!
