Mid-Autumn Festival is my favorite festival of the year. It comes in September or October, according to the Chinese lunar calendar. It is a time for all family members to get together.
In my family, we all get back to my grandma's house on the evening of Mid-Autumn Festival. My mom and aunt cook a big dinner together, while my dad and uncle help set the table in the yard. After we finish dinner, we put all kinds of fruit and mooncakes on the table.
Grandma always sits in the middle, and she tells us the old story of Chang'e. We sit around her, eat sweet mooncakes and enjoy the big bright full moon in the sky. Sometimes we take pictures of the moon to keep the beautiful memory.
I love this quiet and warm time with my family. It makes me feel the true meaning of the festival.

Hello, everyone. Here is some information about this year's Spring Festival Fair in our city. The fair will be held on the People's Square, in the center of the city. It will open to the public from January 22nd to February 4th, that is, from one week before the Lunar New Year to the fourth day after new year.
During the fair, people can buy all kinds of traditional Spring Festival goods, like beautiful couplets, red lanterns, paper-cuts and different snacks. There will be wonderful performances every evening. You can enjoy a lively lion dance, and there is also a firework show at midnight every day. The show will last about 30 minutes.
If you plan to go to the fair, please remember these rules: first, don't take any heavy bags with you, because it's crowded everywhere.
