In a park, a group of eighth-grade students learned about animals with their teacher, Ms Clark. She showed
them pictures of animals and told them that each animal is very important.
First, they talked about big animals like elephants and rhinos (犀牛). Ms Clark said these big animals need
space to live, and that people should not take their homes away. She also told the students that some bad people
catch these animals to take and sell their body parts. If everyone cares and doesn't buy these parts, elephants and
rhinos will be safe.
Then, they saw pictures of lions staying under trees. Lions help keep the number of other animals in balance.
Without them, many other animals cannot live in the wild either.
The class also learned about birds that fly far away to find food and safe places to look after their babies.
People need to help these birds by making sure they are safe.
The students then made posters to teach others about helping wild animals. They put up their posters around
the park to share what they learned.
