Last summer vacation, I went to Star Town with my parents by high-speed train. It took us one hour and twenty minutes to get there. Before the trip, I looked up the traffic rules and town map carefully to avoid getting lost.
When we walked out of the train station, we wanted to visit the old museum first. A policeman told us the way: go along Main Street for 500 meters, turn left at the second crossing, and the museum is across from a big bookstore. We walked slowly and enjoyed the street views on the way. There were many shared bikes on the road, but we didn’t ride them because the traffic rule said kids under 16 couldn’t ride bikes on main roads.
The museum was full of old photos about town transport history. We learned that people used to take slow trains or horse carriages to travel decades ago. Now high-speed trains, buses and subway make trips fast and comfortable. In the museum, we also saw clear signs: no running, no loud talking, no eating inside. We followed all the rules and watched every exhibition quietly.
In the afternoon, we took a bus to the lake park. The bus driver reminded us to sit down before the bus moved and give seats to old people. At the park, we saw many visitors breaking park rules: some threw rubbish everywhere, others picked beautiful flowers. My parents told me good rules keep public places tidy and nice. We picked up waste paper around us and put it in bins.
We left Star Town at 6 p.m. by train. This trip taught me two important things: first, learning traffic rules helps us travel safely; second, we must follow public rules to respect other people.

Jiaozi, Chinese dumplings, is a kind of traditional Chinese food. It has a history of about 2,600 years. Chinese people like eating dumplings for their delicious taste and special meanings.
There are many kinds of dumplings, such as pork and cabbage dumplings, beef and carrot dumplings, mutton and onion dumplings and so on. So jiaozi is popular with almost all Chinese people, and even people around the world.
