A friend invited us to help serve dinner at Tent City. There were a number of tents for the homeless in it. I took my two boys with me. They were 9 and 5 at the time. They had a lot of questions because this was different from their common ideas about people’s ways of living. “Why don’t they have homes？” “Why don’t they get food as we usually do？”“Why don’t they live in the same way as us？”
