A Volunteer Experience
Hello, everyone! I’m willing to share my experience of working as a volunteer with you.
Last summer vacation, I volunteered at an animal shelter in our community. I helped feed the cats and dogs every day. I also cleaned up their living areas to make sure they had a better environment. Besides the daily work, my hobby of drawing also helps me a lot. I made some lovely pictures of the animals and put them up around the shelter to attract more people to notice these poor animals.
Working as a volunteer has taught me a lot. It not only gives me a chance to help those in need but also makes me understand the importance of love and responsibility. It’s everyone’s duty to look after animals.
As the saying goes, “The rose in your hand, the sweet smell in mine.” I hope that everyone can care about our community and make a difference.

Last weekend, I joined an environmental protection volunteer activity in my community. Together with other volunteers,I spent hours cleaning up garbage in the neighborhood park. We collected all kinds of waste, from plastic bottles to paper. After that, we shared knowledge about environmental protection with local residents and encouraged them to do garbage sorting.
Thanks to our efforts, the park looked clean and tidy at the end of the day. I felt really proud. I believe everyone's small actions can make a big difference to our environment.
