inspiring的用法:
(1). 形容词,核心含义:鼓舞人心的;激励人的;启发灵感的
用法说明:可作定语,修饰事物或具有该特质的人;作表语,描述事物的性质;作宾语补足语,补充说明宾语的特征。
The inspiring speech moved all the students present.(作定语,修饰事物)那场鼓舞人心的演讲感动了所有在场的学生。
This book about the scientist's life is very inspiring.(作表语)这本关于这位科学家生平的书非常励志。
We found his experience inspiring and educational.(作宾语补足语)我们觉得他的经历既鼓舞人心又有教育意义。
(2). 动名词 v.-ing,激励;鼓舞;启发,即动词 inspire 的现在分词形式。
用法说明:在句中可作主语、宾语等
Inspiring others to pursue their dreams is a great pleasure.(作主语)激励他人追逐梦想是一件很快乐的事。

Tu Youyou is a great Chinese medical scientist. She was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, on December 30, 1930. When she was 16, she became seriously ill with tuberculosis(结核病). This experience made her decide to study medicine to help more people.She graduated from Beijing Medical College in 1955 and later worked at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
In 1969, Tu joined a national project to find a cure for malaria(疟疾), a deadly disease that killed millions of people every year. She and her team studied more than 2,000 traditional Chinese medical texts and tested over 380 different plants. They faced many difficulties and failures, but Tu never gave up. She even tested the medicine on herself to make sure it was safe.

Zhan Tianyou is a famous Chinese engineer who has inspired generations of Chinese people. He is widely known as "the Father of China's Railways". He was born in Guangdong Province in 1861. At that time, China was very weak and many foreign countries looked down on Chinese engineers.
