Step 1 Lead in Show pictures of different communication forms（talking face to face, sending text messages, making video calls）and ask： "How do people communicate in these pictures Which way do you often use " Guide students to share their ideas and write key communication words on the blackboard（e.g., "text messages", "video call"）. Look at pictures, share their favorite communication ways using simple expressions（e.g., "I often send text messages to my friends." "My parents make phone calls to relatives."）
Step 2 Pre-listening 1. Present the communication ways in 1a（talk face to face, send text messages, etc.）, lead students to read aloud and match with pictures. 2. Ask students to discuss with partners："Which communication way do you think is most convenient Why " 1. Finish the matching task in 1a. 2. Discuss different communication ways using prior knowledge and simple expressions.
Step 3 While-listening Play the recording of the conversations in 1b, ask students to complete the table（communication way, relationship）. Play the recording again for 1c, guide students to answer questions about time, place and plans. Check answers and emphasize key structures（if...will...）and communication words（rehearsal, pick up, visit）. 1. Listen to the recordings and complete the table in 1b. 2. Listen again, answer questions in 1c, and check in groups.
Step 4 Post-listening Present the example dialogue about inviting a friend（e.g., "If you visit China, I will show you around. If I go to the UK, I will try local food."）. Ask students to practice in pairs, creating their own dialogues using 1b-1c information. Practice dialogues in pairs, using "if...will..." and communication words to talk about invitation scenarios.
Step 5 Pronunciation Play the recording of pronunciation part, ask students to listen and repeat words with word endings（/-pl/, /-kl/, /-tl/ 等）（e.g., "people", "uncle", "little"）. Guide students to add more words to each group（e.g., "possible" for /-bl/, "garden" for /-dn/）. Play the sentence recording, ask students to repeat and notice pronunciation in communication descriptions（e.g., "If you send a message, she will reply soon."）. 1. Repeat words and sentences after the recording. 2. Summarize pronunciation rules for target word endings and practice intonation in dialogues
Step 6 Summary&Practice Lead students to review key communication words, "if...will..." structure and pronunciation rules. Assign workbook exercises on 1a-2. Retell key language points. Finish exercises to consolidate learning.
家庭作业 Finish the listening and matching exercises in 1a-2 of the workbook. Write 5 sentences about communication plans using "if...will..."（e.g., "If my friend is free, I will make a video call. We will talk about our holidays."）.
