When you speak English, you may want to sound more like a real English speaker. So how can you speak it more naturally
First of all, you need to learn grammar. If your grammar is wrong, it can be hard for people to understand you.
But this doesn’t mean you have to speak like someone in a book! In fact, sometimes you should do the opposite! People speaking English every day often talk in a more relaxed way. For example, they use contractions (缩写). A contraction is formed when you put two words together, like “can’t” instead of “cannot”, or “won’t” instead of “will not”. They also say things like “gonna” for “going to” and “gotta” for “get to”. These words sound more natural when people speak, but we don’t usually write them.
People also use filler words (填充词). These are words like “um”, “so” or “you know”. They help fill the space while you think about what to say next. For example, someone might say, “So, I was thinking, um… Are you doing anything later ”
And while you might have learned in school to answer a question in full sentences, it’s not something you need to do when talking with friends. It’s okay to give ▲ answers.
Of course, learning to speak naturally takes time. A great way to learn is by listening to people who speak English, like in movies or on the Internet. Try to copy how they talk. Just keep practising—you’ll get better every day!
51. What should you do first to make your speech sound more natural
I should learn ________ first.
52. How do people speaking English often talk
They often talk in a(n) ________ way.
53. Which paragraph describes the kind of language shown in the following example
(Well… to be honest, like, I fell asleep halfway through.)

I can put “________” there.
55. Why does the writer write the passage
