　 Love eating fish,but worry about the tiny bones(刺) Chinese scientists have found an answer: using gene-editing(基因编辑).They have made a new kind of crucian carp(鲫鱼) without the small bones.
This special fish,named “Zhongke No.6”,was developed by a team at the Chinese Academy of Sciences,reported Xinhua.They found that the “runx2b” gene helps make the over 80 tiny bones in carp.Using gene-editing “scissors” called CRISPR/Cas9,they cut the runx2b gene very precisely.This way,the tiny bones never grow,but the main skeleton(骨架) does,said a lead researcher,as reported by online news website Interesting Engineering.
“The carp swims and grows normally and tastes just the same,” Gui Jianfang,the head of the team,told Guangming Daily.
