二、教学设计依据
（一）教材分析
本课承接Unit 3 Using Language （1）听说课，以主题公园介绍类阅读为载体，开展公园介绍类写作训练，是单元读写输出核心课时。
语篇价值：阅读文本《THEME PARKS—FUN AND MORE THAN FUN》结构清晰，依次介绍Disneyland、Dollywood、Chimelong Ocean Kingdom三座主题公园，每段围绕名称、位置、游乐设施、特色景观与餐饮展开，描述性形容词、if条件句和祈使句密集，是公园介绍写作的绝佳范文。
育人价值：通过中外主题公园案例对比，引导学生了解美国南部传统文化、中国海洋主题公园建设成就以及全球卡通文化，尊重多元文化，增强文化自信。
前后关联：整合本单元公园活动词汇与方向指引表达，巩固描述性语言运用，为单元检测写作储备完整素材与写作模板。
（二）学情分析
知识基础：学生能读懂简单说明文，但对主题公园介绍类文本的语言特征（描述性形容词、if条件句、祈使句的劝说功能）不熟悉；appeal to、amusement、entertainment等词汇的词性转换与搭配掌握薄弱。
能力短板：阅读时无法快速分类提取公园信息并归纳表格表头；写作只会罗列信息，缺少描述性语言与劝说性句式，文章语言平淡、结构松散；思维导图构建能力不足，写作前缺乏系统规划。

纸质学习资料：选择题练习单、信息表格填空、语言特征标注题；头脑风暴思维导图模板、写作提纲；词汇练习卷。
前置任务：预习本节课的词汇；回忆自己去过的或了解的一座主题公园，提前梳理其名称、位置、特色游乐项目与餐饮各1点。
五、教学过程设计
Step 1 Lead-in
Watch the video and talk about theme parks
1. The teacher plays a short video clip, asks students to watch carefully and guess which theme park it is based on the visual clues in the video.
2. The teacher presents pictures of several well-known theme parks (such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Dollywood, etc.), asks students to look at the pictures and share the names of any other similar theme parks they know or have visited.
3. The teacher presents six pictures showing different park activities, asks students to look at the pictures and brainstorm what activities visitors can do in these theme parks.
4. The teacher invites several students to share their answers and writes key activity phrases on the board, then leads into today's topic: Today we will read an introduction to three fascinating theme parks and learn to write a park introduction ourselves.
Step 2 Pre-writing
Task 1 Predict text content from the title and pictures
The teacher displays the title “THEME PARKS — FUN AND MORE THAN FUN” and three pictures, asks students to look at the title and pictures and answer two questions:
① According to the title and subheading, what do you think the writer will talk about in the text
The writer will talk about some theme parks. They are not only fun to visit but also educational or informative.
② According to the pictures, what do you think the writer will talk about in the text
The writer may talk about three theme parks: Disneyland, a park with waterwheels and a park with huge aquariums.
Task 2 Read carefully and choose multiple answers
1. The teacher displays five multiple-choice questions about Disney, Dollywood and Chimelong.
2. The teacher asks students to read the full passage and mark key supporting sentences for each choice.

Task 4 Analyze Text Language Features
1. Match column headers
The teacher asks students to look at the completed table on page 32 and discuss in groups what headers they would give for columns A to D.

2. Find and classify three kinds of sentence patterns
（1）The teacher asks students to find three types of language items in the text — adjectives, if-clauses, and imperatives.
（2）The teacher asks students to discuss in groups how these types of language items are used and what they add to the text.
adjectives These add colour and life to the passage, and make the descriptions more interesting and inviting.
if-clauses These help the reader make the decision to do as you suggest. For example, when you say, “If you want to have fun and more than fun...” the reader will probably say to himself, “Well, of course I want to have fun and more than fun.”
imperatives These are used for strong suggestions or the “hard sell”. People tend to do as they are instructed, so the use of imperatives can be an effective way to motivate them to do something, especially if done in a friendly way.

第三段：游乐项目与配套餐饮（Rides & Food）

Task 2 Draw a mind map for writing an outline
1. The teacher presents the writing task: “Use what you have learnt to write an introduction to a park”, and displays pictures of several parks (such as Disneyland, Dollywood, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Universal Studios, Happy Valley, etc.) as reference options, and asks each student to choose one park they wish to write about — either a park from the text or a park they have visited or know well.
2. The teacher asks students to make a mind map about their chosen park, and then use the mind map notes to write their first draft.
Step 4 Post-writing
Task 1 Sample appreciation
The teacher displays a full sample essay about Universal Studios Japan and compare it with their own writing for improvement.

Task 2 Peer revision
1. Ask students to exchange drafts with partners, use the checklist to revise each other’s writing:

Does the writer use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling
2. Ask students to revise their own drafts according to partners’ advice.

3. 优化改进方案
