1. Circle the word(s). (Activity 1)
Ask the students to circle the correct word(s) in each sentence.
2. Find and State. (Activity 2)
Ask students to find the noun/adjective/adverb phrases in the passage and state their functions.
3. Think and share.
Ask the students to discuss the following questions in groups and then share their opinions.

Suggested answer:
I fully agree with the writer.
For one thing, one out of eleven children can't go to school due to poverty and have to work hard at a young age, while we enjoy convenient school education.
For another, it's wrong for us to hate schoolwork or skip classes. We ought to cherish this valuable chance and make full use of our education to create a warmer world.
4. Reflecting.
Ask the students to reflect on their understanding of the content of this unit based on the list provided in the textbook.
(二)Project: Set up a student club
1. Group work. (Activity 1)
Ask the students to work in groups and choose one of the clubs provided in the textbook, or create a new club they think others would be interested in joining.
2. Decide the details. (Activity 2)
Ask the students to decide on the following details of their club.
3. Design a logo. (Activity 3)
Ask the students to design an eye-catching logo for their club and make a poster including the club's name, slogan, and logo.
4. Prepare an introduction. (Activity 4)
Ask the students to prepare an introduction to recruit new members during a school assembly. Include some details that are not mentioned on their poster.
Suggested answer:
Hello, everybody! We are very pleased to introduce our club to you. It is called the Street Photography Club. Our slogan is “Capture Life as It Happens”, and our club aims to capture life as it happens! You don't have to have an expensive camera or equipment. You can take great photos with just a cell phone. We will teach you how to look for great pictures, and then show you how to improve them using simple software. So, we hope to see you at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday by the fountain in Green Park!
(三)Video Time
1. Before You Watch
Ask the students to look through the title, introduction, and photos. Then guess whether the statements are true (T) or false (F).
2. While You Watch
①The teacher provides the video for this unit.
②Ask the students to check their answers in Before You Watch.
③Ask the students to circle the correct word(s) in each sentence.
3. After You Watch
Ask the students to work in pairs. Discuss the questions.

Suggested answer:
My life is similar to that of my parents in some ways, but they did not have computers or mobile phones when they were growing up. It seems most of my time nowadays is spent online.
Tandi said, “I don' t think you become a person if you don't know where you come from.” Do you agree or disagree with this statement Why or why not
Suggested answer:
I agree. There are many important factors that make one a person. To be a real person you need to understand where you come from, who you are, and where you are going. You need to think about the larger things in life, and see how you relate to history and society.
