personal experiences or stories about someone who has had a similar
problem.
End the letter with a positive message. It is a good idea to try to cheer up
the person you are writing to.

Learning about the language
The following expressions might be helpful when you write a letter of advice:
I understand your feelings.
Try these pieces of advice and see if they help.
I hope ... I wish you all the best.
Writing
例:
Dear Simon,
I understand your feelings. It must be upsetting to feel lonely because your parents are always busy and pay little attention to your stress.
I have two useful suggestions for you. First, it might be a good idea to send your parents a short message to tell them your loneliness and school pressure when they finish work. Second, you can ask them to set aside a small amount of spare time for a family talk on their free days. Many students with the same problem solved their trouble this way.
Try these pieces of advice and see if they help. I hope you can get more care from your parents soon. I wish you all the best.
It is important to check your writing after you finish. You should especially check if there are any mistakes in terms of:
Punctuation Spelling Grammar
Choice of words Style (formal/informal) Structure
Checking your writing
Self-review
Do the examples support the
advice you give
