Robin Hood is one of the heroes in old English tales. He’s not a king or a knight (骑士). He is just a man who got tired of seeing the rich hurt the poor.
Robin Hood is brave and helpful. He’s not afraid to bend the rules to do good things. Once, a noble (贵族) stole a poor woman’s land. No one wanted to help her. Robin heard her crying and decided to help her. That night, he went into the nobleman’s house quietly and took back the land deed (契据). Then he left it on the woman’s doorstep. He also took wealth from the rich and gave it to the poor.
Robin is loyal (忠诚的) to his friends too. He and his friends are like family. When one of them was caught, he went to save him at once. He often said, “You hurt one of us, you hurt all of us.” They fought together, laughed together and stood up for each other.
Robin Hood shows that heroes don’t need crowns (王冠). They just need to care about the people around them, fairness and making the world a little better. When I read about him, I want to be that kind of person: brave enough to stand up, kind enough to share. That’s why he’s my favorite.

Dear Tom,
How is everything going I’d like to share my experience of using the internet with you.
I usually use the internet for about seven hours every week. I mainly use it for study and relaxation. On the internet, I look up useful information to finish my schoolwork and watch English videos to improve my listening skills. Sometimes, I also chat with my friends to relax myself.
In my opinion, the internet is helpful if we use it properly. We should make good use of it to study and learn new things. We must stay away from unhealthy information and never spend too much time online.
Yours,
Li Hua
