第四部分 写作
第一节
Nowadays, many schools arrange study tours for students, which has sparked a
heated debate in society. In my opinion, study tours are of great benefit to us students.
First of all, they allow us to get out of the classroom, connect theoretical
knowledge with real life and broaden our horizons. Meanwhile, we can relieve
academic pressure and improve our teamwork skills. To make the tours more
meaningful, schools should design educational activities. Besides, students need to
make preparations ahead of time and reflect on their experience after the tour.
In short, with thoughtful design, study tours can be both educational and
enjoyable.
第二节
After this incident, Lucy realized she might have misunderstood Jacky. She felt
ashamed of judging him solely by his appearance. His dyed hair and tattoos were no
indication that he was a bad person; on the contrary, he proved to be decisive, brave,
and kind enough to rescue the boy just in time. The noisy guitar playing and parties
no longer annoyed her as much as before — she even began to view them as part of
a young man’s dynamic life. Regretting her previous hesitation and prejudice, she
knew she should have communicated with Jacky instead of making pointless
assumptions.
Gathering her courage, Lucy decided to go upstairs. Knocking gently on Jacky’s
door, she held a plate of homemade cookies. When Jacky opened the door, he looked
surprised but greeted her warmly. Lucy apologized for her earlier prejudice and
thanked him for saving the boy. She also politely mentioned the noise. Feeling sorry,
Jacky promised to keep the noise down after 10 o’clock. From then on, they became
friendly neighbors, a perfect example showing that one should never judge a person
1
by their looks.
