Fruit Enzyme: Green Home Cleaner
Many families try to cut down chemical cleaners at home, and fruit enzyme is a perfect green choice. It only takes fruit peels, sugar and clean water to make it.
First, collect apple, orange or banana peels. Then put peels, sugar and water into a plastic bottle. Do not fill the bottle full, because gas will come out during fermentation. Cover the bottle lightly and open it every two days to let gas escape.
After three months, the liquid inside becomes fruit enzyme. It can clean tables, windows and floors without bad smell. If you mix a little enzyme with water, you can also pour it into flower pots to feed plants.
Lots of students try out this DIY craft in school environmental clubs. Making fruit enzyme helps us reuse kitchen waste and protect our living environment. It is cheap, safe and friendly to the earth.
