In Jiujiang, every day starts with a “fire”! The houses turn red as the sun rises above the mountains. The city not only has a long history of producing great writers and poets but owns many tourist destinations which excite and inspire all, offering something for each of the senses. The peaceful landscape of Jiujiang and its many counties is a true feast for the eyes, with its spectacular mountains dotted with striking waterfalls and beautiful flowers. And down by the Poyang Lake, the chirp of birds and the gurgle of water make up the unique music of Jiujiang. On a quiet morning, feel the breeze kissing our faces, and breathe in the sweet scent of flowers while this city greets the new day with its first smile. With all this beauty, it is not surprising that Jiujiang has developed strong traditions that include music, dancing and dining. To have a chance of experiencing this, in the afternoon, stop by a shop to taste delicious local snacks when interacting with local people. Better yet, find a restaurant and enjoy various traditional dishes. At night, the stars come out to tell us that all is well and Jiujiang grows quiet.
