The beautiful Li River and its amazing scenery is one of the most well-known tourist destinations in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It attracts millions of domestic and foreign visitors each year. However its reputation as a top destination has had negative effects on the river's water quality. This report looks at the problem of water pollution and some actions that have been taken to deal with it.

With the development of industry and agriculture, environmental problems are becoming increasingly serious(变得越来越严重) all over the world.
Vast forests have been cut down and waste water has been poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore, the whole ecological balance of nature is changing. The environmental destruction(n.破坏, 毁灭) has negative effects on man’s existence. It’s high time that we should take actions to cope with(应付；处理)environmental problems. For instance, the industrial enterprises(企业) should obey the regulations(遵守法规) regarding environment protection. Besides, environmental protection awareness should be spread via the media(通过媒体).
I hope that these measures will be effective and bring us a better future.
