We usually play a game “Musical Chairs”. A group of kids run around a row of chairs when music plays and try to sit down on one of them when the music stops. 54 Well, the fact is, the number of chairs is always one less than the number of children. So, at the end of each round, there is going to be one player out.
The world is a zero-sum game(零和博弈). 55 If you’re in, I’m out. That’s just how easy but cruel(残酷) this game is. “Why is a win-win situation(情况) so hard to get ” you may ask. The answer is because we hope to be different from others. We divide the world into “us” and “them”. 56 And those who are not one of “us” usually fall into the group of “them”. “We” and “they” always get into fights. 57
But come to think about it, maybe it’s easy to have a win-win situation. We just need a change in our mind. Why not think of “them” as part of “us” 58 So by doing this, we can win the zero-sum game and make a beautiful future.
