61.例文:
Dear Matt,
How nice of you to care about Chinese customs!
Here is some advice for you. First, you don’t need to arrive too early. Being on time is enough. You’d better avoid arriving ahead of schedule. Second, bringing some flowers or fruit is a good choice. Third, pay attention to table manners. You should wait for the elders to start eating first. Also, never stick your chopsticks upright in the bowl because it is impolite. Keep soft smiles during the whole meal.
I believe you will have a wonderful dinner with Nick.
Yours,

①Can a 101-year-old person still stay energetic and play tennis well The Australian tennis star Henry Young is such a good example. Age has never stopped him from moving forward. Instead, he keeps training hard. In 2025, he took part in a senior (老年组的) tennis game in Croatia. To people’s great surprise, he still practices tennis several times a week and enjoys every moment on the court (网球场).
②Henry fell in love with tennis when he was young, and he has kept playing it for over 80 years. As his lifelong sport, tennis builds up his body and clears his mind. It gives him lasting energy and makes him confident to face life every day. He once took part in many tennis competitions and won plenty of prizes. Even after turning 100, he still took part in international senior games and showed his great talent to the world.
③Besides playing tennis, drinking milk every day is also his lifelong good habit. It not only helps him to stay healthy and strong but also gives him enough energy to keep doing sports.

As the world gets hotter, more places are suffering from global warming. Some experts and governments make efforts to slow it down, while others hope to find proper ways to survive on a warmer planet.
One idea is to build climate shelters. These are public places where people can stay safe and cool during very hot weather. For example, cool areas in parks and squares, air-conditioned (有空调的) libraries, community centers and shopping malls can be climate shelters. One important part is that they are free to use so that everyone can go there.
Some cities have already started building these climate shelters. In Barcelona, summer temperatures can go above 35℃. The city plans to let everyone be no more than five minutes away from a climate shelter by 2030. It has already built more than 360 of them. Some Chinese cities have turned old bomb shelters (防空洞) into cool resting places in hot weather.
However, the heat is not the only problem. Wildfire smoke can also cause health problems. In Australia, where wildfires are common, many homes are not able to keep all of the smoke out. Climate shelters can help people get away from the heat and smoke. In some countries, climate shelters may also be necessary in winter. In parts of the US and Europe, winters get very cold. People use libraries and community centers as “warm banks”. These heated buildings offer people a warm place to go, especially if they can’t afford to heat their homes during very cold weather. As climate change continues to get worse, such shelters may soon become a normal part of people’s daily life.
8.According to the text, which of the following can be a climate shelter
A.A park with many tall trees. B.A hotel with a swimming pool.

10.What can we learn from Paragraph 4
A.People in cold areas don’t need shelters.
B.Wildfires are more serious than terrible heat.
C.Global warming can be solved in the near future.
D.Climate shelters will be widely used in daily life.
11.What is the best title for the text
A.Hide from Cold Weather B.Live in Hot Summer Days
C.Survive in a Changing Climate D.Suffer from Bad Conditions
