My grandma also joins us sometimes. She rides a pink bike. We form a small bicycle team. People in our neighbourhood call us the "Green Family".
Now I want to learn to ride a bike too. Grandpa promises to teach me this summer. I cannot wait to ride with him!

A Fun Farm Trip

We also found a strawberry patch. The strawberries were bright red and smelled wonderful. We filled two big baskets with cherries and strawberries. My mother said, "We can make cherry pie and strawberry jam at home."
The farmer taught us how to pick fruits carefully. "Do not pull too hard," he said. "Gently twist and they will come off." We learned a lot from him.
On the way home, we ate some cherries in the car. They were the sweetest fruits I had ever tasted. My father smiled and said, "The fruits we pick ourselves are always the best."
I love farm trips. They bring us fresh air, sunshine, and the joy of harvesting. I hope we can go there again next summer!
