A 14-year-old girl named Mia from Canada started a project called “Books for Kids”. She noticed that many children in poor areas didn’t have enough books to read.
Mia collected used books from her school and neighborhood. She also asked her friends and family to donate books. In just one year, she collected more than 2,000 books. She sent these books to schools in poor villages in Africa.
