Do we still need zoos
Students of Grade Six took a survey (调查) and here are some of their ideas.
I think the zoo is an important place for us to learn about different animals, especially for kids. It makes learning so much fun. What’s more, animals can live a better life at the zoo. — By Wang Jun
I think zoos do more harm (伤害) than good. First, keeping animals in such a small place is cruel (残忍的). They can’t run or play, so they may feel bad or even hurt themselves. Second, zoos are not helpful to animals. Many animals never learn how to live in the wild. —By Lei Yu
It isn’t a simple “YES” or “NO” question. Improve the zoos! Make better places for the animals and help them learn to live in the wild. Teach people how to save animals, not just watch animal shows for fun. Zoos can be good if we make them better. — By Chen Xi
