It is in northern China. It is very long and old. People built it long ago to save the country. It is one of the world’s great wonders.
It is in Dunedin, New Zealand. It is a train station and it opened in 1906. Its black-and-white look is like sweet gingerbread, so it gets this lovely nickname.

was是be的第一和第三人称单数过去形式。
weekend是已经过去的时间,所以应该用was,而不是is
