一、核心概念
序数词是表示顺序、次序的数词，意为“第……（个/位）”。序数词常与定冠词 the 连用。

三、序数词的缩写形式
序数词可以用“数字 + 后缀”来表示：

四、序数词的主要用法
1. 表示顺序或排名
He is first in the race.（他在比赛中得了第一名。）
Sunday is the first day of the week.（星期天是一周的第一天。）
This is my second time visiting Beijing.（这是我第二次来北京。）
2. 表示日期（日期的核心用法）
日期表达：月份 + the + 序数词（或 月份 + 序数词）
October 1st → October the first / October first（十月一日）
May 5th → May the fifth / May fifth（五月五日）
完整日期：月份 + 日期（序数词）, 年份
October 1st, 2024（2024年10月1日）
3. 表示楼层
I live on the third floor.（我住在三楼。）
The library is on the second floor.（图书馆在二楼。）
4. 表示“第几个（生日/周年等）”

2. 序数词前有物主代词或名词所有格时，不加 the
