Mum: I think you are. Staying up late is not a healthy habit and it can lead to serious health problems. You should start going to bed earlier.
Millie: I often spend a lot of time reading. That’s why I go to bed so late.

Further thinking
Peer Pressure(同伴压力)
Description: Peer pressure is one of the most common teenage troubles. Teenagers care a lot about fitting in with classmates and friends. They often feel forced to follow others’ choices just to avoid being left out. For instance, some students don’t really want to play mobile games all day or skip after-school study, but all their close friends do these things. They worry their friends will laugh at them or stop hanging out if they refuse. As a result, they give up their own study plans and waste lots of time on useless entertainment. This makes them feel confused and guilty deep inside — they know it’s bad for their grades, yet they lack the courage to say “no” to their friends.
