Bad sitting posture (姿势) can harm your health over time. The good news is that improving your posture is easy if you practise daily. Here are simple steps to help you sit properly.

Don’t let your shoulders (肩膀) fall forward. Move your chair up or down so that your feet can rest on the ground and your legs look like an “L”. If your feet can’t touch the ground, put a small box under them to hold them up.
Keep your shoulders relaxed. Don’t pull them up or forward. Put your screen right in front of your eyes so that you don’t need to look up or down. When you use the mouse, keep it close to you. Don’t stretch (伸展) your arm out too far, or you may get tired quickly.
Take little breaks. Sitting too long makes your muscles (肌肉) tired. Stand up, move around or walk for a while every 30 minutes. Even a quick walk helps your body feel better and more relaxed. During the walk, you can also feel full of energy again.
Remember, good posture isn’t just for sitting. Try to stand and walk straight too. Improving posture takes time, but small changes make a big difference. Start by noticing your sitting posture. Over time, good posture will become a habit, protecting your health.

As the old saying goes, “It’s better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books.” Last summer vacation, I went to Qingdao with my parents.

The trip was wonderful and unforgettable. It not only made me relaxed, but also let me learn more about the outside world. I hope to visit it again.
