核心语法：时间状语从句（when、until，as，before和after引导）
一、核心概念
时间状语从句在复合句中充当时间状语，说明主句动作发生的时间。它由从属连词引导，放在主句之前或之后。
核心功能：
用一个句子来说明动作发生的“时间”。
核心规则：“主将从现”
在时间状语从句中，如果主句是将来时，从句用一般现在时表示将来。
示例：
I will call you when I arrive.（我到达时会给你打电话。）
She waited until he came back.（她一直等到他回来。）
二、when 引导的时间状语从句
1. 核心含义
when 表示“当……时候”，主句动作发生在从句动作的时间点上。从句动词可以是瞬间动词或延续性动词。

从句在前：When + 从句, + 主句
从句在后：主句 + when + 从句

4. 主将从现
I will call you when I arrive in Beijing.（我到北京时会给你打电话。）→ 主句将来时，从句一般现在时
We will have dinner when he comes back.（他回来后我们就吃晚饭。）
三、until 引导的时间状语从句
1. 核心含义
until / till 表示“直到……为止”。主句动作一直持续到从句动作发生为止。
2. 用法区别

肯定句 + until：

I waited until he came back.

四、as 引导的时间状语从句
1. 核心含义
as 表示“一边……一边……”或“随着……”，强调两个动作同时发生。
2. 例句
She sang as she walked.（她边走边唱。）→ 两个动作同时进行
As time goes by, we become wiser.（随着时间的推移，我们变得更聪明。）→ 渐进变化
He smiled as he said goodbye.（他说再见时微笑着。）→ 同时发生

五、before 引导的时间状语从句
1. 核心含义
before 表示“在……之前”，从句动作发生在主句动作之前。
2. 例句
Please turn off the lights before you leave.（离开之前请关灯。）→ 先关灯后离开
I had breakfast before I went to school.（上学之前我吃了早饭。）→ 先吃早饭，后上学
Think it over before you make a decision.（做决定之前先想清楚。）
3. 时态注意
主句是将来时，从句用一般现在时。
I will call you before I leave.（我离开前会给你打电话。）
六、after 引导的时间状语从句
1. 核心含义
after 表示“在……之后”，从句动作发生在主句动作之后。
2. 例句
After I finished my homework, I went out to play.（做完作业后，我出去玩了。）→ 先做作业，后出去玩
We went home after the movie ended.（电影结束后我们回家了。）→ 电影先结束，后回家
After he arrives, we will start the meeting.（他到了之后，我们就开始会议。）
3. 时态注意
主句是将来时，从句用一般现在时。
We will start after he arrives.（他到了之后我们就开始。）
七、核心规则：“主将从现”（必考！）
规则： 在时间状语从句中，如果主句是将来时，从句用一般现在时表示将来。
结构： 主句（将来时）+ 引导词 + 从句（一般现在时）
例句：
I will call you when I arrive in Beijing.（我到北京时会给你打电话。）
We will wait here until the bus stops.（我们会在这里等到公交车停下来。）
Please turn off the lights before you leave.（离开前请关灯。）→ 祈使句也表将来
After he arrives, we will start the meeting.（他到了之后我们就开始。）

1. until 与 not...until 的混淆
I left until he came back.（leave 是瞬间动词，应使用否定结构）
