考点1：一般过去时的用法
【定义】一般过去时用于描述过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
【用法分类】
（1）表示过去发生的动作
例句：Last month, they went to the Clubs Fair.
例句：He took a rocket and launched it.
（2）表示过去存在的状态
例句：The fair was very crowded.
例句：Li Na and Liu Wei were very surprised.
（3）表示过去的习惯性动作
例句：When I was young, I often went to the park.
【时间标志词】
yesterday, last week/month/year, ...ago, in 2020, just now, at that time等。

【详解】句意：上个月，他们去了社团招募展。last month提示过去时，go的过去式是went。故填went。
考点2：一般过去时的结构
【定义】一般过去时的肯定句、否定句和疑问句有固定结构。
【结构公式】
（1）肯定句：主语 + 动词过去式 + 其他.
例句：He took a rocket and launched it.
例句：They were very excited.
（2）否定句：主语 + did not/didn't + 动词原形 + 其他.
例句：I didn't enjoy my day out.
例句：She didn't go to school yesterday.
（3）一般疑问句：Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？
例句：Did you wear a cap？
肯定回答：Yes, I did.
否定回答：No, I didn't.
【要点详解】
- 否定句和疑问句中，did已经体现过去时，后面动词用原形。
- be动词的过去式：was/were，否定和疑问直接变化（无需did）。

考点3：规则动词过去式的变化规则

规则一：大多数动词直接加-ed

规则二：以不发音字母-e结尾的动词，加-d
