Hi, everyone! I’m Steven from the US. I travel around the world, looking for our planet’s most beautiful places. That’s why I’m here in Xizang Autonomous Region, China.
Right now, I’m standing in front of the world-famous Namtso Lake. It took about four hours to drive here from Lhasa, the capital city of Xizang Autonomous Region.
So, what makes Namtso Lake so special It’s over 4,700 metres above sea level. That makes it the highest salt lake in the world. No wonder the name Namtso means “sky lake” in the local language. Up here, I feel like I could reach up and touch the clouds!
There’s more to this lake than its height. The lake is a natural wonder. The water is clear and blue. And look at the snowy mountains in the distance! How beautiful! Because this lake is so high in the mountains, it’s a little cold right now, even though it’s summer. The wind can get very strong at this lake too. You can really feel the power of nature here.
Tonight, I’m going to stay at a hotel nearby because I want to watch the sunset over the lake. At sunrise and sunset, the sky and the water turn red and golden. If you ask me, there’s no better time to see the beauty of this amazing lake.

On 24 March 2026, we received very sad news. Zhang Xuefeng, a well-known educator, passed away suddenly. He died of sudden cardiac death ( SCD-心源性猝死). This sad event tells us that health is the most important thing in our lives.
What is sudden cardiac death Our heart works like a pump (泵). It sends blood with oxygen (氧气) to our brain and body every second. When SCD happens, the heart stops working normally. It may beat too fast or just stop beating. Then the brain cannot get enough oxygen. That is why SCD is perilous and happens very quickly.
Many people think only old people have heart problems, but this is not true. Even young people can face heart risks. Unhealthy habits like staying up late, eating too much junk food, and exercising too hard are the main causes. For us students, sports are good, but over-exercise is harmful. When you play sports, watch your body signs. If you feel tired, dizzy (头晕), or have chest (胸部) pain, stop right away. Never push yourself too hard.
To protect our hearts, we need to follow healthy habits. First, sleep 8 to 10 hours every night. Enough sleep gives your heart time to rest. Second, warm up before exercise and cool down slowly after. Third, drink enough water and eat healthy food. Fourth, if you feel uncomfortable during exercise or study, tell your teachers or parents immediately. Let’s take good care of our hearts and grow up healthily.
62. What does the underlined word “perilous” in paragraph 2 probably mean
A.Dangerous. B.Common. C.Useful. D.Slow.
63. Which of the following is a sign that you should stop exercising
A.Feeling your face turn red. B.Breathing heavily.
C.Feeling thirsty. D.Having chest pain.
64. How does the writer organize the last paragraph
A.By telling a story. B.By listing advice in order.
C.By comparing two different ideas. D.By asking and answering questions.
65. What’s the main purpose of the passage
A.To explain how to become a good educator.
B.To show the importance of sleep.
C.To introduce the history of heart disease.
D.To teach how to protect our hearts.

Do you get angry when your friends sing loudly Or when your best friend does not wait for you after school
If you do, you need to control your feelings and stop getting angry so easily. Getting angry easily can make you lose friends.
Gary Egeberg, an American high school teacher, wrote My Feelings Are Like Wild Animals to help you control your feelings. It tells teens how to stay cool when bad things happen to them. The book says that getting angry only makes problems worse. It cannot make them better. “Getting angry is not a natural way to act,” the book says. It is just a bad habit, like smoking. The book says you can control your anger easily, and all you have to do is to tell yourself not to be angry.
When a baby falls over, it cries only when people are watching it. Like a baby, you can only get angry if you are sure it is the right thing to do.
The book gives many suggestions to help you if you get angry easily. Here are the top three.
★ Keep a record. Every time you get angry, write down why you are angry. Look at it later and you will see you get angry too easily.
★ Ask your friends to stop talking to you when you get angry. This will teach you not to be angry.
★ Do something different. When you get angry, walk away from the problem and go somewhere else. Try to laugh.
Try these tips to manage anger, keep friendships, and stay calm when things go wrong.
66. Why does the writer ask questions in the first paragraph
A.To introduce the topic of controlling anger. B.To test the readers’ friendship.
C.To show the writer’s anger with friends. D.To give examples of bad temper.
67. What will happen if we get angry easily according to the passage
A.We’ll get ill easily. B.We’ll eat less.
C.We’ll lose our friends. D.We’ll put on weight easily.
68. What do we know about getting angry according to the book
A.It can make problems better. B.It is a natural way to act.
C.You can control the bad habit. D.It only happens to babies.
69. Which one does the underlined word “it” refer to in the fourth paragraph
A.The book. B.The baby.
C.The habit. D.The anger.
70. What is the best title for the passage
