Two months ago, I got a chance to be a volunteer homestay helper for foreign students in our city’s international student center. The Story of Community Shared Book Shelves
Walk around almost every neighborhood in our city, and you can see wooden shared book shelves standing at the gate or beside the garden. These small shelves are free book sharing stations for all community people. The idea of shared book shelves started three years ago from a volunteer group called “Book Warmth”.
