三、C层·拓展挑战
17. [阅读理解](综合:航天命名与传统)阅读下面短文,根据短文内容选择最佳答案。
①So far, China has successfully sent a large number of satellites and spaceships into space. Space scientists have been greatly inspired by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them names.
②Since thousands of years ago, Chinese people have dreamed of going to the moon. Chang'e Flies to the Moon is one of the most popular stories. As you can see, China's first man-made satellite to circle around the moon was named Chang'e I. More interestingly, the moon rover was named after the Jade Rabbit, who is the partner of Chang'e in the story. These old stories carry people's best wishes and dreams. With the development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true.
③Kuafu Runs after the Sun is another story to show how much ancient Chinese people wanted to know about the unknown world. Now, Kuafu is going with the scientists to "visit" the sun, because we have a space project called Kuafu Mission.
④Besides the ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example, Mozi, an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2,000 years ago. His discovery made space study take a big step at that time. So, China's first quantum (量子) science satellite was named Mozi, making China the first country in the world to achieve quantum communication between satellites and the ground.
⑤From such simple things as giving names to the satellites, we can see how great our traditional culture is and what influence it has on our modern science and technology.
(1) What inspired Chinese space scientists when they were naming satellites and spaceships
A. Modern technology. B. Ancient stories and famous people.
C. International trends. D. Scientific discoveries.

A. Chinese scientists lack creativity.
B. Traditional Chinese culture has a great influence on modern science.
C. Chinese scientists are overly reliant on ancient stories.
D. Chinese scientists ignore the importance of scientific discovery.
(4) What would be the best structure of the passage
A. ①/②③④/⑤ B. ①/②/③④⑤ C. ①/②③/④⑤ D. ①/②③④⑤
18. [任务型阅读](综合:太空票直播)阅读下面短文,按要求完成各小题。
You can buy lots of things during a livestream (直播), such as food and clothes, and now even a ticket to space.
On October 24, Deep Blue Aerospace, a Chinese space company, sold two space travel tickets in a livestream. This was China's first try of selling space tickets. The tickets were priced at 1.5 million yuan each. But during the stream, they were just 1 million yuan each.
The 12-minute space trip will give a different experience. According to the company, passengers will sit in a spacecraft that is about 4 metres tall and 3.5 metres wide, with six big windows and space for six people. The spacecraft will go 100 kilometres above Earth.
Travellers will experience weightlessness for at least five minutes and see Earth from above before coming back down safely. Passengers between 18 and 60 years old can be chosen. And of course they should be healthy. After being chosen, they have to take some security training before the trip.
The trip will use the company's Nebula-1 rocket. It runs on oxygen and kerosene (煤油) and can be reused. With the development of modern technology, space tickets might become less expensive, said Huo Liang, CEO of Deep Blue Aerospace. The company plans to do lots of tests in 2026 to make sure the space trip is safe. They hope to begin the trip in 2027.
(1) How long will the space trip last (不超过5个词)
(2) Who can be chosen to take the space trip (不超过10个词)
