专题 连词
连词是在句子中用来连接词与词、短语与短语或句子与句子的词。
例句：
1.He is tall and thin.
他又高又瘦。
2.She is sad because she failed the exam.
她不开心，因为她考试没通过。
并列连词：连接两个或两个以上的字、词组或分句。常见并列连词：and, or, but, so
1.and 是一个表示并列关系的并列连词，意思是 “和，并且”。连接 2 个并列成分。
例句：
This butterfly is blue and green.
这只蝴蝶是蓝绿色的。
2.连词 or 用法:
(1)“或，还是”。表示选择。
例句：
Are you going to America by boat or by plane
你到美国是坐船还是坐飞机？
(2)“否则”。表示一种否定的条件。
例句：
Hurry up, or you will be late for school.
赶快，否则你上学就要迟到了。
(3)用于否定句中代替 and。
They didn't sing or dance.
他们既没有唱歌也没有跳舞。
辨析“and,or ”------and 用于肯定句，or 用于疑问句和否定句。
例句：
Tom, Jim and I are playing football now.
汤姆，吉姆和我现在正在踢足球。
He doesn't like milk or juice.
他不喜欢牛奶或果汁。
Does he like milk or juice
他喜欢牛奶还是果汁？
1.but“但是”。表示转折，一般用于否定句。
例句：
He likes the piano but doesn't like the violin.
他喜欢钢琴，但不喜欢小提琴。
2.so“所以”，表示结果。
例句：
The cat is hungry, so I give it some food.
猫饿了，所以我给了它一些食物。

从属连词：连接两个或两个以上的分句。常见从属连词：because, before, after
1.because“因为 "，表示原因。
例句：
She didn't go there, because she was ill.
因为她病了，所以没有去那里。
补充说明连词 for 和 because 的区别：
for：间接连词，不能放句首，它是并列连词。
because：直接连词，能放句首，语气强，表示客观必然原因。
1.after“在…… 之后”，引导时间状语从句。
例句：
After breakfast, he will go to school.
吃完早餐，他将要去学校。
2.before“在…… 之前”, 引导时间状语从句。
例句：
Go to bed before 10:00 p.m.
10 点之前去睡觉。
