Jian started his shop in 2016 to help the public and provide social services. On the day it opened, he made a rule to encourage people to help those in need. The toy donation project is green and can help poor children. “When I was a volunteer teacher in a poor village, I found that many children there didn’t need desks, chairs, or pens. They needed something to play with,” he said.
Also, the children find it interesting after donating because they get their favorite ice creams as rewards (奖励). Since Jian’s shop is close to two primary schools, students often visit it after school. In four years, the 36-year-old has received more than 15,000 toys.

A typhoon is a powerful storm that brings strong winds and heavy rain. It forms when the ocean water is at least 26.5℃ and the air is very moist (湿润的). It can cause a lot of damage, especially in coastal areas.
In the eye of a typhoon, the weather is surprisingly calm. The winds and the rain may stop. But this is only temporary (暂时的). After the eye passes, the storm reappears with strong winds and rain from the opposite direction.
When a typhoon is coming, it’s important to prepare. People should stay indoors and close all windows and doors. They should also have food, water, and flashlights ready in case the power goes out. Listening to weather reports can help people know when it’s safe to go outside.
After the typhoon passes, there may be a lot of cleanup to do. Fallen trees and branches need removing. Broken windows and damaged roofs need repairing (修理). Communities often come together to help each other after a typhoon.
Typhoons are powerful and dangerous, but with the right preparation, people can stay safe and recover from the damage they cause.

八、书面表达范文
Dear teachers,
I’m Li Hua. I want to be a volunteer to introduce Chinese table manners to foreign exchange students.
First, I will tell them the right manners. We should use chopsticks properly and wait for the elders to start eating first. Then I will tell them bad manners: never stick chopsticks upright in rice bowls, which is unlucky in Chinese culture.
I volunteer for this activity because good table manners help us communicate better with others. I’m ready to show them real Chinese polite culture. I hope I can get this volunteer chance.
