A Sports Experience
Last week, I participated in the 100-meter race at our school sports meeting. I was very nervous before the race, but my classmates cheered for me and gave me confidence.
When the starting gun went off, I ran as fast as I could. At first, I was in the lead. But halfway through, another runner passed me. I didn't give up. I tried my best to catch up. Finally, I finished third.
Although I didn't win the first place, I felt very proud of myself. I learned that perseverance is important. This experience also made me realize the power of teamwork. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.
