We can know what the weather will be like from listening to the radio or watching TV. But can we predict (预测) the weather ourselves We can correctly read the signs (迹象) around us. This way of telling what the weather will be like on the following day or two is called weather forecasting (天气预报).
In fact, people began to study the weather and try to make weather forecasts a long time ago. They used their eyes and brains to do it. Here are some popular weather signs they have made.
