Villages in China have enjoyed their development in a digital way in recent years. With the help of digital technology, villagers are living an easier and happier life.
Farming in the past was not an easy job. Farmers worked hard all year round. At the same time, they usually found it difficult to solve problems like plant diseases and pests (害虫).Now, there have been big changes in farming. For example, in Dayi County, Sichuan, there are 13 digital farms with AI machines. These machines help local farmers know when and how to fertilize (施肥) their crops and kill pests. In this way, they make farmers work more easily with less time and energy.

Now that I grow older, my daily life is totally different from my days in primary school. For example, my primary school stood right next to my old house, so I used to walk to school hand in hand with my mom and dad every morning. Now my junior high school is quite far away from my new home. I take the school bus to school every morning together with my close friends.
My family’s living conditions also changed a lot. My whole family used to live in a narrow small house, but we have moved into a much wider and brighter apartment at present. My grandpa also moves to live with us. He has his own separate bedroom and a small smart TV for himself. I feel so happy that I can stay with him every single day.
My learning methods are different too. I become far more confident in all my subjects, and I often take part in group discussion activities after class. I love studying subjects together with my classmates. It’s incredible how much progress we make when we learn as a team.
Many aspects of my life have changed greatly, but one warm thing never shifts: the love and happy feelings shared among all my family members.
