Sanjiangyuan
Eco-protection
China set up the Sanjiangyuan National Park. The government and local people worked hard together to protect the environment:
returning farmland to grassland, protecting wildlife,
eco-guardians.
Today, Sanjiangyuan is experiencing its own "green miracle." The grass is becoming green again, the lakes are getting bigger, and the water is clean and fresh. It has become a safe and beautiful home for both humans and nature.

Three-North Shelterbelt Forest Program
This project is one of the biggest environmental developments in human history. Millions of people have taken part in it over the last few decades: planting trees and bushes, using modern technology.
The project has already brought incredible changes to northern China: more green space, fewer sandstorms, better lives: the trees protect farmland, allowing farmers to grow more food and fruit, which helps them earn more money. The Three-North Shelterbelt Program shows how a long-term plan and hard work can truly change the environment and create a beautiful, green future!

Kubuqi Desertification Control
For decades, the government, local people, and green companies worked hand in hand to fight the sand. They used smart and scientific ways to plant trees: using technology, planting special bushes, developing green industries: they built huge solar power stations in the desert.
Through years of hard work, more than one-third of the Kubuqi Desert has been turned green. The local weather has improved, with much more rain and fewer sandstorms. Furthermore, the green industries have helped thousands of local farmers and herders escape poverty. Today, Kubuqi is a world-famous example of how humans can successfully control deserts and bring nature back to life!
