Yes, there is a student council in my school. It acts as a bridge between students and teachers. It collects students’ ideas, organizes school activities such as sports meetings and art festivals. It also helps solve some small problems for students.
Yes, I think so. The student council knows what students really need. It helps communicate between students and teachers. It holds many colourful activities and deals with students’ worries. In this way, our school becomes more lively and comfortable.
My name is Danielle. I'm in Grade 9 this year, and I'm president of the student council at my school. The student council works hard to make school more fun, more united, and more welcoming. Members of the council are chosen by the students.
This year, we planned many school activities. In February, we decided to organise an art festival. Everyone had different opinions on how to make it successful. What did we do We shared our ideas with others and made sure everyone was respected and we found the best ideas together. In the end, the art festival was a big success.

Later, we had more activities! We all did our part to make sure each event worked well. During a bake sale, for example, we were divided into three groups. One group took care of the sales. Another baked all the treats. And my group took care of promoting the sale! We raised a lot of money for a charity, and everyone was proud to be a part of the team.
During student council meetings, we work together, but it's not always easy to reach an agreement that satisfies everyone. The students in the council are from many different cultures. We hold different ideas, wear different clothes, and even speak different languages. But we are all friends, so we communicate and try hard to understand each other. We cooperate to make our school a better place for everyone.

If my group members have different opinions, first of all, I won’t argue with anyone. I will let everyone fully express their thoughts.
