What do you know about the Touching China award
The Touching China award is an annual award from CCTV. It honours ordinary people with moving stories. Every year ten people get this prize. They teach us to be kind and brave.

In all societies and at all times, people respect
heroes and heroic actions. Nowadays, many
awards are given to people for their heroic actions. The Touching China award is one such award.
Do you know someone who has won the Touching China award
Captain Liu Chuanjian is a winner. When his plane broke down in the sky, he risked his life to land safely and saved everyone. So he got the Touching China award.

Well, these moments are from the film The Captain. In the film, the captain stayed calm. He flew the plane with one hand and held his co-pilot with the other. In the end, he landed the plane safely and everyone survived.
This disaster film is based on a true story. It happened in Sichuan in 2018. The real captain, Liu Chuanjian, received the Touching China award. Have you seen it yet I’m sure you will love it!
