Rules are part of our life. Different places have different rules. Let’s look at some of them.
At school, we have rules to keep everyone safe and help us learn. We must arrive on time, listen to teachers, and not run in hallways. If we break these rules, we may get a warning or even a punishment.
In the library, the main rule is to keep quiet. We can’t talk loudly or make noise. We also need to return books on time. This helps everyone enjoy reading and find the books they need easily.
On the road, traffic rules are very important. We must cross the street at zebra crossings, wait for the green light, and not play on the road. Following these rules keeps us away from danger.
Rules are not meant to be annoying. They are made to help us live better and safer lives.

At first, I thought the rules were unnecessary. When we got to the campsite, I wanted to explore the forest alone. But my dad stopped me. He said it was dangerous because there might be wild animals. I was a little unhappy, but I stayed with my family.
That night, it rained heavily. Our tents stayed dry because we had set them up in a safe place, following the rules. The next morning, we found a bear’s footprints near our campsite. I was glad I didn’t go into the forest alone.
Now I know that following rules can keep us safe. We should always listen to people who give us good advice about rules.
