My Favorite Writer—Mark Twain
Mark Twain is my favorite writer. He was born in 1835 in the USA and worked as a riverboat pilot before becoming a writer.
His most famous novels are The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Full of humor, they show real lives of common people in the southern US. I love his works because they not only make me laugh but also make me think about social problems like unfairness.
Mark Twain is called “the father of American literature”. His works are still loved by people all over the world. I hope to read more of his books to learn more about his thoughts.
