　　In schools, crowded stairs can be dangerous. Students may push each other or run down the steps, which sometimes leads to accidents like falls or stampedes (踩踏). To keep students safe, three primary school students invented “voice-controlled smart stairs”．
　　These smart stairs look just like ordinary stairs, but they have hidden sensors. There are 8 flat film pressure sensors on the right side of each step, and a long linear sensor along the middle line. When students step on these sensors in the wrong way, the stairs automatically play voice prompts. For example, if someone walks on the middle line or crosses the steps, it says “Please keep to the right” or “Do not cross the steps”. If many people stand on one step (showing a crowd), it warns “Do not crowd. Please move slowly”．
　　The invention was not easy to make. The biggest challenge was programming the sensors to work correctly. With their teacher's help, the students learned basic coding and fixed the problems. Now the smart stairs work well in their school's model. The students hope that one day real stairs in schools will use this design.
　　The voice-controlled smart stairs are helpful for two reasons. First, they remind students to follow rules and stay safe. Second, they teach kids about using technology to solve real-life problems. It's a great example of how young inventors can make their surroundings safer.

　　阅读下面短文，简略回答问题。
　　Kristen Tapping, a student from London South Bank University, has invented a bike wheel that can help clean pollution in the air. It's called Rolloe.
　　The wheel uses fins (翼) to pull in air as it turns. It then uses filters (过滤器) to take in polluted air and give off clean air back into the environment. The wheel can filter more air if it goes faster, although it still works at low speeds.
　　Tapping said users would need to change the filter every week or after about 250 kilometres, to make sure the wheel continues to work well. The wheel fits in the front of a standard bike and weighs about one kilogram.
　　Tapping said she was encouraged to create the wheel when she was biking around London. “In traffic, you always notice the pollution, the heat, the gases and the smell，” she said. She predicts that if 10 percent of the riders in London had a Rolloe on their bike, they could filter about 266，865 m3 of air a day, although this has yet to be tested.
　　A recent report shows that London's health costs are the highest among all the European cities because of air pollution. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also said that outdoor air pollution causes about 4.2 million deaths around the world each year.
　　Tapping wants to use the wheel on shared bike projects at first, with the aim of making the wheels available for all bikes to use. She says she would also like to create a wheel that would fit in the back of a bike, as well as making them available in different sizes.
