描述人、事物、地点等的性质、状态、特征、数量或所属关系的词。其核心功能是修饰名词或代词。如：excited, worried, angry, sad.
e.g：

I am happy. 我很开心。
动词变形容词（-ed）：worry-worried; excite-excited
