语法专项聚焦
一、存现句（there be 结构）
there be 结构表示“（某地或某时）有某物或某人”。
这种结构中的 there 没有实际意义。句子中的 be 动词必须和后面所跟的名词在数上保持一致：
在一般现在时中，名词是单数或不可数名词时，be动词用is；名词是复数时be动词用are。
There is no place like home.
没有地方能比得上家。
There is some milk in the bottle.
瓶子里有一些牛奶。
There are some cups on the table.
桌子上有一些杯子。
1.基本结构
(1)肯定句：There be + 主语 + 地点状语/时间状语。
There are six pencils in the pencil box.
文具盒里有六支铅笔。
(2)否定句：There be + not + 主语 + 地点状语/时间状语。
There are not six pencils in the pencil box.
文具盒里没有六支铅笔。
(3)一般疑问句：Be there + 主语 + 地点状语/时间状语？
答语：Yes, there be./No, there be not.
—Are there six pencils in the pencil box 文具盒里有六支铅笔吗？
—Yes, there are./No, there aren’t.
是的，有。/不，没有。
(4)常用how many对可数名词的数量进行提问。
There are six pencils in the pencil box.
文具盒里有六支铅笔。
→How many pencils are there in the pencil box
文具盒里有多少支铅笔？
(5)对there be结构中的主语提问时，常省略there。
There is a clock in our classroom.
我们的教室里有一个钟。

2. there be结构的“就近原则”
当有两个或多个并列主语时，be动词的形式与最靠近它的主语在数上保持一致，即“就近原则”。
There is a pen and two rulers in the box.
盒子里有一支钢笔和两把尺子。
There are two boys and a teacher in the room.
房间里有两个男孩和一位老师。
拓展 There be sb/sth doing sth. 有某人/某物正在做某事。
There is a boy running on the playground.
有一个男孩正在操场上跑步。
3. there be结构与 have/has
there be结构 表示“某地/某时有某人、某物”，侧重客观存在；句型：There be+某人/某物+地点状语/时间状语
have/has 表示“某人有某物”，侧重所属关系；句型：某人+have/has+某物
There are two pencils and a pen in my pencil box.
我的文具盒里有两支铅笔和一支钢笔。
I have a pen and two pencils.
我有一支钢笔和两支铅笔。
注意：there be结构不可与have/has同时使用。
二、表示方位的介词与介词短语
在英语中，方位介词通常与后面的名词或代词构成介宾短语表示位置关系。

My School
This is my new school. It is not big but very beautiful. There are some modern buildings in it.

We can read many interesting books there. The dining hall is in front of the library. It is my favourite place because the food there is very delicious.
