No two persons are exactly the same. Each teenager has special personalities, strengths and weaknesses. Some students are good at sports, some do well in art, and others shine in study. Real self understanding means seeing both our good points and our weak sides.
Many teenagers compare themselves with others too often. They feel upset because they cannot be as good as their classmates in some paring too much will hurt self confidence. It does not mean we give up improving ourselves. We can learn from others, but we do not need to copy their lives.
Nobody is perfect. When we find our weaknesses, we do not have to feel ashamed. We can try to make small improvements. Accepting who you are does not mean stopping growing. It gives you courage to face challenges. This is the true meaning of “This is me”.

Nick Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1982. He was born without arms and legs. When he was a child, he felt very sad and angry. He couldn’t understand why he was so different from other children. He even thought about ending his life.
However, things began to change when he was 13 years old. His mother showed him a newspaper article about a man who had overcome great difficulties. Nick realized that he was not alone. He decided to accept himself and make the best of his life.
Nick learnt to do many things by himself. He could write with his toes and use a computer. He also learnt to swim and surf. In 2005, he started his own organization called “Life Without Limbs”. He travelled around the world to give speeches and encourage people.
Nick’s story tells us that nothing is impossible. He often says, “If I can encourage just one person, then my job in this life is done.” He has helped millions of people around the world to face their problems bravely.
Today, Nick is a husband and a father. He has written several books and continues to inspire people everywhere. His life proves that attitude is everything.

Nick was a boy in middle school. He thought that he was the best in everything he did. Whenever he lost, he would always find excuses.
