The main character of the story is called Xu Fugui. At first, he didn’t seem very smart, and his life was full of misfortunes (不幸). Then, he lost his family and friends. At the end of the story, he lost almost everyone he loved. However, he didn’t give up on his life.
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., I was completely lost in Fugui’s world. After finishing the book, I couldn’t stop thinking. His story made me feel both sad and deeply moved.
