Everyone can be a green person at any time and place. Today, I'd like to share my ideas on how to be a greener person in the kitchen.
First of all, reduce food waste. Don't prepare more food than you can eat, so you need to plan your meals carefully. Also, making a shopping list is helpful. It can keep you from buying more things than you really need.
Secondly, say no to plastics. Don't use plastic cups or bags. We can use glass cups more often and cloth bags for shopping. This can greatly help reduce kitchen waste. Also, try not to buy things with plastic packaging.
Thirdly, try to save energy. Yes, you can save energy right from your kitchen. For example, you don't have to use the oven so often. If you do need to use the oven, you may think of cooking more than one thing at a time, so as to save energy.
